Parents and teachers today are very aware of the importance of raising their children to be bilingual. They have noticed a growing need for acquiring new languages and mastering the awareness of other cultures. Experts agree that the earlier a child is introduced to a foreign language, the greater the chances are that the child will become proficient in the language.

  

Why is age a key element for the language learning?

During the first five years of life a child is less self conscious about any mistakes made while practicing and learning a new language. One of the reasons why young children are so successful in picking up the new sounds of a new language is because they are less inhibited when it comes to trying, compared to older children and adults.
